Details about the Gold Plan

Here's what you can expect with your Gold Plan subscription:

• February - Gold Plan reminder post cards will be mailed.
  • There is no action required for Gold Plan subscribers.  The post card is just a reminder that you are subscribed to the Gold Plan annual backflow testing program.
• April/May - The $35 Gold Plan fee will be assessed (once annually) to your water bill.
• April through September - TVWD's contracted backflow assembly testers will perform the annual backflow assembly test.
  • The testers are required to leave a door hanger letting you know the test took place, as well as the results of the test.
  • For passing test results, the tester will electronically submit the test report via our online system.
  • If there are any issues or if the backflow assemble did not pass, it will be noted on the door hanger.
    • If repairs or if a replacement is needed, TVWD will cover up to $50 of the cost if the work is performed by TVWD's contracted testing company.
    • TVWD's contracted testing companies will provide a quote for the repair which will include the $50 Gold Plan credit.

The Gold Plan is a subscription based service which continues each year unless you notify us you would like to cancel or when you move (stop service).
