Bulk Water Program

Customers must apply for authorized access to bulk water from Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) fire hydrants for construction, landscaping, street cleaning and other approved uses.  Detailed information may be found by clicking on the topics below.

TVWD offers Hydrant Permits and Hydrant Meter Backflow Assemblies which are issued pursuant to TVWD’s Rules & Regulations.  

Unauthorized hydrant use and/or use of a non-approved (un-inspected) tank is subject to the penalties listed in our Bulk Water Rates.
